The Westbay festival takes place over the Halloween weekend, in the scenic north Antrim coast town of Portrush. The festival includes musicians of such prestige as: Michael McGoldrick (flute), Dezi Donnelly (fiddle), Tim Edey (guitar), John Joe Kelly (bodhrán), Conal O'Grada (flute), Christy Leahy (accordian), John Neville (guitar), Grace Kelly (whistle), Ruadhrai O'Kane (fiddle), Angelina Carberry (banjo).

The festival comprises of concerts, sessions, workshops, 'taste of Asia' food sampling and a slide show concerning racist issues in Northern Ireland.
