Welcome to the official website of the Frankie Gavin International Fiddle & Strings Festival.

2006 sees the second year of the Frankie Gavin International Fiddle and Strings Festival. This year's festival runs from Friday 20th October until Sunday 22nd October 2006, and showcases a vareity of guests, including:

Seán Keane (Chieftains), Tommy Peoples, James Cullinan, Vincent Griffin, Maurice Lennon, Ciarán Ó Maonaigh, Brendan Larrissey, Angelina Carberry, Mary Shannon, Enda Scahill, Greg Cotter, Eoin O’Neill, Quentin Cooper, Fionnuala Hunt & Úna Hunt from the Irish Chamber Orchestra, Steve Cooney & Laoise Kelly, the Café Orchestra, Liz Doherty, Siobhán Peoples, Breda & Cora Smyth, Maeve Donnelly, Máíre Ó Keeffe, Liz Kane, Winne Horan (Solas), Mairín Fahy and Patsy Broderick.

This year's festival will be held around four venues (see "Programme" section of the website), namely: the Radisson SAS Entertainment Centre, The Crane Bar Listeners Club, St. Nicholas Collegiate Church and Roisín Dubh.
